Terms of Service
By commissioning Zombiefox Studio, you acknowledge that you have read the TOS and agree to its terms unless otherwise noted in a private conversation with the artist, Chibi Ann {AKA Barb Painter}Zombiefox Terms of Service
August 14, 2018-Current

Overview: This document exists to outline the major points of my terms and service as an artist to better serve you, the client. If at any time there are questions about my art, your purchase, commission, services, etc., it is up to you, the client, to message me, Barbara Painter, for clarification.
- - -Glossary:
Client: Person requesting, purchasing, or commissioning a cosplay piece or artwork.
Artist: The person creating the cosplay piece or artwork, generally Barbara Painter (Chibi Ann) but cosplay work may have assistance by other members of Zombiefox Studio including Benjamin Painter.
Commission: A piece of custom art/propwork that is requested and paid for by the client to the artist.
NSFW: Not Safe for Work art. Generally includes tasteful nudity, excessive gore or violence, lewd artwork, or anything that is unacceptable for purchase by any client aged under 18.
Paypal: The primary method of payment between client and artist. It is a very popular online money transferring service. Please send any payments through this service as “Goods and Services”. Yes, it will charge me a fee but since this is a business transaction, it is better to have this layer of protection.
Queue: The order in which artwork is being created.
Reference: Information, descriptions, screenshots, or art that is used as a basis for creating the client’s request. The more and better references provided, the better the finished piece will be.
Sketch: Rough sketches done in pencil or otherwise not finely detailed by extensive computer linework or ink.
Linework: Semi-completed artwork. Black and white. Zombiefox Studio generally uses India Ink to complete linework on sketches done traditionally but digital artwork is much more simple.
Colorwork: Completed art with color.
Watermark: The logo identifying the artist. Generally used to prevent unauthorized use of original creative pieces.
Other Useful Terms when browsing and buying my art:
Furry, Furre, Anthro: Animal characters with human anatomy or characteristics.
Fursona: The persona of someone who identifies as a furre or furry.
Chibi: Japanese slang for “small” or “short”. Cutesy, superdeformed artwork of a character (anthro, anime, manga, or otherwise). Usually has a big head compared to a smaller body and limbs.

The Terms of Service:
I, the artist, have a right to refuse any project or commission. As an artist, I have artistic limits to what I am actually able to draw well. You, the client, have a right to inquire to any rejection received. This is not a problem I predict happening often.
My primary method of payment is Paypal. If Paypal is not an option for you, you must contact me to arrange payment. Half payment is required on approval of the sketch stage and full payment is required before any art is delivered.
All art that is produced originally belongs to Zombiefox Studio. You are authorized for use upon payment. Commercial use is subject to an additional charge.
If you request NSFW art, I require a valid proof of age. This is to protect both the artist and the client. No NSFW for clients under 18.
Zombiefox Studio reserves the right to post your artwork on any of our social media pages unless specified otherwise. I won’t post your custom art on Redbubble or for sale to the general public!

REFUND POLICY and DEADLINES:
Art is a fickle thing on terms of refunds. I will work with you to get a sketch you approve of and will give you consistent daily updates. If you are unhappy with the direction the sketch is going, you can request a refund. If I have already begun on the Colourwork after explicit sketch approval, you forfeit your deposit. I do not accept buyer’s regret or remorse as a valid reason for a refund.
If you submit a refund, understand that your art I am in the process of creating can no longer belong to you and you will not be authorized for usage beyond my normal art.
My turn around time {TAT} varies on the complexity of the piece and the length of my queue. I generally estimate 1-3 days and if my queue is longer I will have to adjust your estimated delivery. Daily updates will be given to keep you, the client, in the loop. Sometimes extenuating circumstances crop up and I, the artist, do my best to keep in touch with you, the client, to discuss progress and any issues. Please do your best not to demand a refund if you feel your artwork is taking too long.Harassment is not accepted while I am working on your commission. You will be blacklisted.
If you are worried about the deadline or length it is taking to recieve your piece, don’t hesitate to send a professional or cordial message. I’d be more than happy to give you a progress update or an idea of how long the queue is.
Above all else, just communicate! I don’t bite, I promise!Changing Your Commission:
Once your artwork has been lined and color begins, I generally can’t change a whole lot with the structure of the art. I will send progress photos of the sketchwork for inspection before I continue. If you do not like something or need something changed, inform me ASAP. Otherwise, I will continue with your commission. Colors can be changed when I send the progress picture for linework but other than that, I cannot change a whole lot. If your commission is in Traditional art format— Traditional art differs greatly from digital art. Once those pens hit the paper, it cannot be changed. Make sure your sketch is 100% to your liking!
I cannot make huge changes to my art style. My art style is unique and it is what it is. What you see is what you get. I try to give a vast range of examples in my portfolio.
Once your art is complete, the sale is final and no refunds or changes will be issued.

CREDIT to the ARTIST:
When using or reposting your commissioned piece, please give credit where it is due. I will send both a watermarked image and clean image for your personal use. A signature is not a watermark though. You, the client, are not allowed to remove my signature for ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. My signature is generally small and out of the way or hardly noticeable.
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES may you claim your commissioned piece as your own. Do not edit, manipulate, or transform your commissioned piece. You can resize and crop artwork to use as things such as avatars, but generally do not mess with the integrity of the piece.
If you want to purchase artwork from me with the intention of using it in business, marketing, advertising, or anything otherwise associated with profit, you will need prior consent to me and are subject to an upcharge.

Shipping:
If you choose to have your product shipped to you there are a few extra things you should be aware of.
I am not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged pieces that I have turned over to the shipping company. If you want insurance on your product, please pay extra for that and specify.
All mail sent will include a tracking number. Anything extra must be purchased by the client.
